Medical colleges authorised to issue unique ID cards to disabled persons
Odisha is empowering all 14 government medical colleges and hospitals to issue Unique Disability Identity (UDID) cards, aiming to clear a significant backlog. This move follows a denial of additional login credentials for the Swabalamban portal. Superintendents will now act as issuing authorities, streamlining the process and addressing the state's third-highest pending application rate nationally.
