Yamuna’s dirtier in March but it’s not as bad as 2025
Delhi's Yamuna River experienced a significant surge in pollution load this March compared to February, with faecal coliform levels quadrupling at Asgarpur. Despite this increase, the water quality remains better than March of the previous year. Pollution spikes persist downstream of the Najafgarh drain, a major contributor to the river's contamination.
