Rs 25,000 bounty criminal who escaped from UP jail shot in leg during encounter
A wanted criminal, Ankit Kumar alias Gudda, carrying a Rs 25,000 reward, was apprehended in Manesar after an exchange of fire with the Crime Branch. Kumar, who had escaped from a Uttar Pradesh jail, was shot in the leg during the encounter. Police recovered a pistol and ammunition from the scene.
