Public transport in Bengaluru: Long way to go
BMTC runs one of the largest city bus fleets in India, and the Metro network is fast improving. Yet, many are reluctant to take these public transport systems, which are the only real solution to the city's infamous traffic congestion. Last mile connectivity - from homes and inside massive biz campuses - is a big issue. As are the absent/ awful footpaths.
