Mizoram houses over 40000 refugees, IDPs
Mizoram finds itself in a complex humanitarian scenario, currently supporting more than 40,000 people. This includes 31,000 refugees from Myanmar escaping ongoing conflict, 2,300 individuals from Bangladesh who are facing severe persecution, and almost 7,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Manipur.
