CM announces installation of Mahatab’s statue
Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi honored Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab, a key freedom fighter, on his 39th death anniversary. The state government will erect a full-length statue of Mahatab in Bhubaneswar. Majhi also announced increased pensions for freedom fighters and those imprisoned during the Emergency, recognizing their sacrifices.
