Uttam Nagar violence: Don’t demolish houses of accused till today’s hearing, Delhi high court tells MCD
Delhi High Court has ordered the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to halt the demolition of two houses linked to the Uttam Nagar Holi violence until March 11. The houses belong to the mother of an accused and the family of a juvenile questioned by police. The women sought protection, arguing demolitions are being used punitively without due process.
