Now, CCTVs along Howrah-Mumbai railway route to curb stone pelting on moving trains
To combat stone pelting on trains, the Chakradharpur railway division is installing solar-powered CCTV cameras at 20 vulnerable spots along the Howrah-Mumbai route. These locations include Manoharpur, Chakradharpur and other rural and suburban areas. RPF squads are also counseling youth and a special mobile squad has been formed.
