Ex-IPS sworn in as Mizoram local body Ombudsman
In Aizawl, Mizoram, Governor Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh officiated the oath-taking ceremony of C Lalthanmawia as the Ombudsman of an independent local body. The ceremony, held at the Raj Bhavan, commenced with the reading of Lalthanmawia's appointment notification. State ministers K Sapdanga, C Lalsawivunga, Lalthansanga, Deputy Speaker Lalfamkima, and opposition leader Lalchhhandama Ralte were among the dignitaries present.
